Ham, Egg & Cheese Croissant Sandwich

This super simple and delicious breakfast sandwich packs a lot of flavor. Don't skip the Old Bay seasoning it really makes a difference.

Ingredients

  • 4 Croissants
  • 8 oz Sliced Cooked Ham
  • 4 Eggs
  • OPTIONAL: Sliced Sharp Cheddar
  • 3 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 tsp Louisiana Hot Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Old Bay Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions

  • Heat a skillet to medium heat. Slice croissants in half with a serrated knife. Add croissants to pan and toast on both sides. Remove from pan.
  • Add olive oil to pan and fry ham until browned and crispy. Remove to a plate lined with a paper towel to remove any oil from the ham.
  • Wipe out your pan. Crack eggs into pan and add butter. Season eggs with a pinch of salt and Old Bay seasoning. Use a spoon to baste the egg yolks with the butter until the top is cooked through. Remove eggs to a plate.
  • Whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, 1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning, and Louisianna hot sauce.
  • Add sauce to the bottom croissant. Top with your ham, OPTIONAL: sliced cheddar cheese, egg, a little more sauce, and the top of the croissant.
